Orthopaedic

We have experience with pre- and post-operative rehabilitation therapy. We have also facilitated treatment options for patients where surgery is not possible. Many conditions stabilise over time and have a positive response to rehabilitation therapy, however in some cases we may recommend surgery.

Because we work closely with your primary veterinary surgeon and referral centres, we have the ability to facilitate further diagnostics or consultation for specialist advice if required.

We have provided rehabilitation therapy for several cruciate surgery techniques including tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO), tibial tuberosity advancement (TTA), and extracapsular stabilisation. Other orthopaedic conditions that may benefit from the addition of rehabilitation therapy include:

  • Hip & elbow dysplasia
  • Patella luxation
  • Fractures
  • Osteochondrosis dissecans (OCD)
  • Fragmented coronoid processes (FCP)
  • Soft tissue injuries (strains and sprains)
  • Spondylosis
  • Cancers affecting mobility
  • Arthritis (OA)
